    1. Wasn't that long ago there were no rules on shredding so you could go this extra step and not incur any duty at all.

  2. These are the ones you told me about a while back. Ready for spreading the word, eh?

The cost is so small it saves the effort of all that home-grown curing. I can concentrate on developing Scotland-adapted wild plants ;)

    2. Read Customs Notice 476, there is no duty or VAT on leaves there is no duty on snuff (nasal tobacco) so any leaves purchased are for making snuff arn't they!!!
The government makes £174 per Kilo on HRT

  5. Chaps, you haven't as yet got all the extra details. When you buy 50g pouches from abroad, are you aware what has gone into them? Really nasty added chemicals. BUT if you are going to start to smoke the whole leaf tobacco that you shred yourself, you can rest assured that there is no harsh added chemicals going into it. So, you could say that you are smoking a 'healthier' cigarette. I have recommended so many people to smoking whole leaf, and those who have started smoking this have told he about how they are either coughing a lot less or not at all. Many non-smokers who live with smokers have said that their rooms don't smell anymore. How about this one, a friend of mine went to his doctors for a check up and the doctor asked him 3 times if he smoked! So maybe guys, smoking whole leaf is the way to go! It will save any of the hastle you get by the nazi border idiots.

I have been smoking whole leaf for about a year, and I tried a 'manufactured' cig, and it tasted disgusting.

Earlier this year, me and the missus went to Benidorm, and rather than smoke the crap sold in shops I took 200 of my own....... cheaper, better tasting, and better for me too!

  6. Hi guys. Just recieved the leaves today. Let me just say first. Whole leaf tobacco at £30 per kilo, a tempting price, but what do you get? I have been smoking whole leaf tobacco for about a year now and have had some exceptional leaves and some that are impossible to work with. I waited 3 days for the bacci to arrive, and as I had no tobacco a friend let me have a few fags.....eeewwww, not nice AT ALL! (after smokin whole leaf, this is what happens) On opening up the box, I was greeted with some very light yellow coloured leaves, this is usually a good sign. I de-ribbed one and shredded it, and of course tubed a cigarette. I promptly light it up and smoked it.........What a relief, a proper decent fag at last! The stuff you buy in shops is crap compared to this! It had a pleasant light and smooth flavour without it being wimpy. So, what do you get for £30? one word....DELIGHTFUL! This outfit has a new friend :-)

"In the eyes of the Tribunal the review letter contained several preconceptions, prejudgments and non-sequiturs"

"the absurdity of this reason is demonstrated by simply stating it"

"We therefore find that Mr Sked misdirected himself as to the Policy in carrying out the review and his decision is therefore one that no reasonable review officer could have arrived at."

... commonly known here at N2D as 'Skeds' ... that is to say these are Judges comments regarding UKBA Review Officer Ian Sked's reasons for rejecting peoples appeals against seizures.
