Merry Xmas To All Our Readers

Sorry we've been a bit quiet on here but it's been a busy period for us. We've made quite a few trips into Belgium via PO Ferries. Everything went fine, everyone came back with their goods with no hassle. Only slight pain was the farcical PO Security pre-boarding at Hull ... but that's for another day to write about.

Our bus got some new stickers :-

We've now made these available in normal car sticker size 70mm dia and you can get them from here

The little spare time we have had ...  we've written on our forum here.  We now have 150 or so members and there's loads of valuable information on the forum to help cross-border shoppers ... SO COME AND JOIN US!

Anyway, that's it for now ... have to wrap some prezzies. lncidentally, did you know it's virtually impossible to buy lighters from jewellers anymore? l mean, just any lighters ... so you can imagine my problem when l wanted a Zippo! Gave up in the end and have ordered one online.

See you after the Xmas festivities ... and have a good one!

"In the eyes of the Tribunal the review letter contained several preconceptions, prejudgments and non-sequiturs"

"the absurdity of this reason is demonstrated by simply stating it"

"We therefore find that Mr Sked misdirected himself as to the Policy in carrying out the review and his decision is therefore one that no reasonable review officer could have arrived at."

... commonly known here at N2D as 'Skeds' ... that is to say these are Judges comments regarding UKBA Review Officer Ian Sked's reasons for rejecting peoples appeals against seizures.
