Normal service resumed. Smoking Hot has landed!

Been travelling in mountains so internet has been non-existant. Now on Black Sea so office now open 24/7. Sea, sun, sand, great cheap food, large JD and coke with ice (2 quid), beer chaser (60p), Marlboro Lights (2 quid), classic rock, beach babes  .... and no Stasi!

Got some catching up on reading what you guys have been up to.

 Posts to follow.

  1. Howz things SH

Not much happening here on Devils Isle, just
the occasional mutter, twitter and snigger on the
Digital Death Star stationed somewhere out in the Cosmos. The politicians have concluded the
total ban has no opposition of note so they are considering throwing some more legislation,regulations,restrictions,rules,by-laws and sundry clamp downs on pubs and clubs.
The HMRC computer has thrown a wobbler and ballsed up a few million tax returns but the
hard drive dealing with old ladies popping over
to Belgium for Superkings is in tip top running order.

Otherwise ,all quiet on the Northern Front

"In the eyes of the Tribunal the review letter contained several preconceptions, prejudgments and non-sequiturs"

"the absurdity of this reason is demonstrated by simply stating it"

"We therefore find that Mr Sked misdirected himself as to the Policy in carrying out the review and his decision is therefore one that no reasonable review officer could have arrived at."

... commonly known here at N2D as 'Skeds' ... that is to say these are Judges comments regarding UKBA Review Officer Ian Sked's reasons for rejecting peoples appeals against seizures.
