Border Force still nowhere to be found.

N2D have been trying very very hard to find the Border Force. They've rang and e-mailed the Home Office and UKBA but got no answers. The Home Office enquiries line have not even heard of them which is very worrying. UKBA enquiries line only talks to Immigrants even when you do get through. Home Office suggested getting in touch with UKBA and UKBA suggested getting in touch with Home Office. Press Office have no details either except for 2 Commons statements by Theresa May.

In the mean time, somewhere in the region of 1800 people have had their goods seized since 1st March by god knows who! I'll try Kings Cross lost and found service or maybe I should report it to the police. :) xxx

  1. "somewhere in the region of 1800 people have had their goods seized since 1st March"

That remains the real scandal-the heart breaking scandal-and not the fact that TPTB are incapable of organising an orgy in brothel....which isn't news to anyone.

1800 people who 'we' didn't reach in time.

  2. How do you appeal against a proper officer coffee-machine? More to the point, where to? Border Farce is what is is!

  3. This is totally bizarre. (And yes, a heartbreaking scandal for the 1,800 who've had their goods seized within the last week, I agree with The Blocked Dwarf.)

    But it is bizarre.

Shall we try Private Eye? Or our local MPs?

How can a new department be set up without any contact details even within the Home Office or UKBA? Is there something they're not telling us?

I've always veered towards cock-up rather than conspiracy - and this looks like a mega cock-up.

I'll set my own little goblin sleuths on it.

  4. It's obvious, innit...they're another branch of the Civilian Uniformed Nicking Technicians, aren't they?
All you have to do is ring up and ask to speak to "the CUNT who seized my tobacco"

  5. "
I'll set my own little goblin sleuths on it."

Evil, mechanical, St.Bernard-Bots might be more effective...that or the ones that Seek, locate, exterm..

  6. We all laugh and joke about the BF- and rightly so..bunch of Quaystone Cops they are. BUT we must never forget the sheer pain and misery these bullies inflict on innocent shoppers. They prey particularly on the weak and vulnerable- on OAPs, on cripples and parents of young children. Often on those who can least afford to lose not only their baccy but there car as well.

They make me sick and introduce them to a horrible new definition of word 'pain' well as the words 'your own regulations state'.

We all must do more to get the information out there.

    1. *Edit (I shouldn't type when angry) "but their car as well.

They make me sick and make me want to introduce them to a horrible new definition of the word 'pain'..."

"In the eyes of the Tribunal the review letter contained several preconceptions, prejudgments and non-sequiturs"

"the absurdity of this reason is demonstrated by simply stating it"

"We therefore find that Mr Sked misdirected himself as to the Policy in carrying out the review and his decision is therefore one that no reasonable review officer could have arrived at."

... commonly known here at N2D as 'Skeds' ... that is to say these are Judges comments regarding UKBA Review Officer Ian Sked's reasons for rejecting peoples appeals against seizures.
