l'm sorry, you seem to have
l was not asking for the purchaser details of individual vehicles.
l was asking for specific details regarding disposal of these
seized vehicles.
Which specific company or companies auction these vehicles off.
Also your figures for sales make no sense. You surely have made a
mistake?
Number of vehicles seized:-
2005/6 6,256
2006/7 6,293
2007/8 5,697
2008/9 5,618
ln your reply you state that monies received from sales of said
vehicles are :-
• 2005-06: £3,017
• 2006-07: £4,135
• 2007-08: £4,021
• 2008-09: £4,259
That works out as an average of 66p per vehicle????
Please explain how HMRC arrived at these figures if they are
correct. lf it is a mistake, please supply correct figures.
Yours faithfully,
H Rauchen"

ReplyDelete"Freedom of Information. Three harmless words. I look at those words as I write them, and feel like shaking my head till it drops off my shoulders. You idiot. You naive, foolish, irresponsible nincompoop. There is really no description of stupidity, no matter how vivid, that is adequate. I quake at the imbecility of it.

ReplyDeleteActually Tony, me Ol'mate, there is:"the absurdity of this reason is demonstrated by simply stating it"
Typival of HMRC, send a bloke to repossess a car for unpaid tax and it costs more for his bus fare than they get from selling the car.
ReplyDeleteIt it any wonder the country is bankrupt?
Germany after the final invasion by Allied troops - people who heiled Hitler in the west and kept their eyes closed to the truth were shocked to find the concentration camps. Soviet Union after the dissolution - people who worshipped central government were shocked to find the level of corruption and thievery taken place. UK in the future - drones, tools and sycophants who nod-nod-winked-winked tobacco control were shocked to find UKBA agents eye-balled those vehicles they wished for themselves or for resale at personal profit and thus were selling it back to government insiders for pennies and pence on the pound. Simply shocked - that's what "they" always say - at the end - after the fall.
ReplyDeletelnteresting times as they say.
ReplyDeleteHave you got the address yet or are you keeping it mum and starting your own car supermarket!
